The Studio Photo Booth with Printing is a fully attended photo booth designed for Kansas City weddings and events that prioritize professional photos, instant prints, group shots, and timeless keepsakes.

Using a professional DSLR camera and studio flash lighting, this booth delivers sharp, consistent images and includes on-site printing for 3 hours, a physical backdrop, and even props if you want them.

This is the only booth we offer that includes on-site printing by default.

Each guest in the photo will receive a copy, and will have the ability to text the photos to themselves as well, making it a popular choice for couples and event planners who value tangible memories over digital-only features.

Because of the powerful lighting setup, guests can stand farther back from the booth, allowing for larger group photos without sacrificing image quality.

Unlike our digital photo booths, this setup focuses on polished photography and reliable printing, not unattended use or cutting-edge software-driven effects.

It requires professional equipment, constant supervision, and an experienced attendant to ensure everything runs smoothly throughout the event.

All Studio Photo Booth rentals include 3 hours of active photo booth service, with a dedicated attendant. The attendant will operate the photo booth, keep the props table organized, and hand out prints.

Important: Idle Time


In most cases, photo booth equipment cannot be set up or taken down while guests are in the space. If we need to set up early or tear down late, we have a discounted hourly rate.

  1. Many venues and establishments do not allow this.
  2. Our liability insurance does not allow this in most cases.
  3. Setting up and tearing down equipment can be loud and destracting which really takes away from the environment.
  4. Most importantly, this can be dangerous for your guests and our staff.

Not to worry though! When this happens, idle time may be applied at 50% of the normal hourly rate so the booth can be on site and ready to use but powered down, before, between, or after active use.

Idle time means:

  • The equipment is present but not operating
  • No photos are being taken or printed
  • The booth is ready to resume service when needed

Idle hours are billed at half the hourly rate in 30 minute increments and are most commonly used for early setup or delayed teardown but can also be used for breaks in your event when the equipment is not needed… like speeches or other activities you don’t want guests distracted from.

During idle periods, attendants do not remain with the booth but return promptly for the remainder of the scheduled service time.


On-Site Attendant & Equipment Care

An experienced attendant is included during all active booth time. They manage the camera, lighting, and printer, help guests pose, and keep prints moving efficiently.

If you add a photo booth album to your experience, they will also help guests with that if needed and will hand out one extra print for guests to add to your book.

Because this booth relies on professional photography equipment, it is always staffed during operation and never left unattended while in use.

After setting up, we test everything, make sure the images look great, secure all cords with a rug or professional gaffe tape, and walk your day-of contact through the basics if needed.

Do not worry about colors much yet.

Type the family name into the search bar and make sure ALL Layouts is selected inthe filter.

Backdrop Basics

Backdrop options vary by booth type and availability changes regularly. Different booths work best with different backdrop sizes, setup styles, and lighting so the backdrop catalogs vary from booth to booth.

Printing Photo Booths include a backdrop from the catalog below or can be used with a physical green screen.

For a virtual green screen, we recommend a Digital Photo Booth… it is included in the price of that booth and will require no physical backdrop if you don’t like the idea of a giant green screen in the middle of your gathering.

We can usually adjust contrast, colors, and layout details so your final design looks clean and intentional with your backdrop and lighting.
